Ian yes push this over to the SIG, I have a Leopard 2 A6 to build as well, the one which ewe ahve already discussed, so how about Modern NATO armour, that gives peopel a chance to build the Challenger et al!Just a suggsetion mind, but if it is to be the Challenger then yes I will build as part of the SIG, just when a start time is planned and the alloted period, or is that a group build?

Andy
I have started a SIG for the Challenger. The Challenger Challenge, get over and sign up if you would like to join the build. I will keep the Modern armour for a GB later on.

Ian i lose out on alot of kits because i refuse to pay stupid prices. Also ther are alot of kits on there that end at stupid hours of the night and when i'm on shift at work i can bid on them quite easily. I have two more kits i'm bidding on and if i win these i'll be buying no more for a while

Money has been very tight lately - as for most of us , ebay impulse buys are long gone as are chucking it on the old credit card , monthly budget for me now lads , I`m having to pick and choose very carefully , my March buy is the 1/24 Fujimi Porsche 917 from Hiroboy with the Zero gulf blue and orange ab paints ,

In my eyes the 917 is one of the best ever looking race cars and with the gulf colours it sets it apart big time

Some nice kits there lads!

That Arizona is a monster Be interesting to see that go together Scott.

Richy, its a Porche and its in gulf colours so that can only end up looking fantastic.

Allyne, Nice flying pencil. I know what you mean about silly prices, I too avoid the panic bids, I just seem to get out bid at the last moment nearly every time. It gets a bit frustrating, but what can you do. Its rather handy being on night shift, you can keep up with the USA timed auctions. I have been lucky a few times though.

I was out today and got a kit I have been after for ages. The Tamiya Vosper fast patrol boat 'Perkasa' in 1/72. so that was good. I "grabbed" a Flakpanzer Gepard while I was there also Tamiya and yet another relative modern machine.

I managed to get a pretty good deal on this from eBay yesterday.

Hasegawa Spitfire Mk IXC Scale: 1/48 #HAJT79 UK

This is my first Hasegawa kit and also my first Spitfire (since the little airfix one when I was about 10). I paid £13 odd and a couple of quid postage. No doubt I will be after much advice when I get it started. Got my eye on a 1/72 Messerschmidt n'all!

Steve

Well Hunty I am sure it will not be your last Hasegawa or your last Spitfire either.

Dragon D6233 SdKfz251 Ausf D 3 in 1 Kit picked this up from local shop for 20 notes.

Whilst I was in town today (on my way to Wetherspoons) I went into my local model shop and look what was sitting on the counter......

A 1/16 Heng Long Tiger 1 early version. Everything is on it...Sound, smoke. The only thing not included is the tranny and receiver. I didn't want them anyway, as I already have another H.G Tiger still in it's box from last year!

I intend making a static model with this one in any case......

After a bit of hard bartering, I got it for £20!

Unfortunately I spent what I had saved in the boozer, hey ho!

Just got my parcel delivered, An A-10, i,m not sure why i bought this as i'm not a great lover of modern jets but this one is so ugly and tooled up to the eyeballs i have a bit of a soft spot for it. The other one is AFV Club Mk5 centurion, a must have as i seen to have a obsession with all things 'Nam at the mo. Girlfriend isn't happy as i'm supposed to be streamlining and saving money as our Oz visa's came through a couple of days ago:smile1:

Great subject, the Bf109D.I've just been re-reading "Condor,The Luftwaffe In Spain 1936-1939" and was thinking about something like this. It'll never happen, too many in the queue!
