This week I build a. Hay feeder out of one of my old goat feeders I’ve had hanging in the barn for about 15 years. Also last week I picked up a couple more Rabbits at the Mennonites. The sheep are doing well weaning them off the bottle this week. 93764A64-E3CF-4E63-BF98-9FC329371EB2.jpegED42A378-8025-4F76-984E-9A9FEE7EB223.jpeg19106A55-9B56-49B5-A9D3-28689E6AB01B.jpeg57BE5CC5-AF3E-41F7-8348-E46BE896B97A.jpeg1F360632-37CA-4A4B-9EEC-37C5C2AF0046.jpeg

Thanks John. They love the camera. When I seen them laying in a row like that I had to get a pic. 1D608397-2D99-4E65-99B8-EEEA35C7619C.jpeg70137A82-BF45-4EBA-88E3-9A56D26D283C.jpeg

Agree with John about your photogenic sheep. Must be a very busy time for you on the farm. I suppose all the work you do now will hopefully pay dividends with a good harvest.

There's a great deal of time and hard work to get to this Lee, certainly tell you are in a better place these days with the new job.

You are so right John. It’s amazing what a Job change will do for your health and mental health. I haven’t felt this good in 15 years or so. I still have severe Arthritis pain but I tolerate it.

Good to hear Lee. Pity about the arthritis, but tolerate it is about all you can do. Easier when you are in a happier place mentally though.

That Aliss is looking very nice. Well looked after. A nice little plot you have there.
I have to ask. Them there wabits Are they for petting or the pot?
Your corn plot is just a tad bigger than mine lol. We have just room for about 20 plants. The last two seasons the cobs have been dry and starchy. not worth eating. Any ideas why they did that? I have read to little water right up to being to long on the plant - over ripe.

Lambs are cute. Piglets even more so. Maybe a good thing we didn't get the 9 acers that came with the house lol.

Always enjoy your updates from the farm. Chicks and sheep all doing well :thumb2: . We've had a long wet winter here too.
Bucko and Dolly in love - spring is in the air!

There my lawn mowers lol. The Allis Chalmers is kept in my garage and it runs great but needs some paint. Yes your corn got too dry and lack of moisture and didn’t make property. It goes the same way if you get too much moisture it will turn a light green/ yellow. This will be the first time I’ve grown Sweet Corn in about 20 years.

Here’s some things I’ve been doing around the Hobby Farm. Last week I installed a trail cam after one of my rabbits were killed by the neighbors dogs after they dug underneath there fence. I had the rabbits in a Rabbit Tractor to eat some of the grass along the fence line and they chewed through the wire and killed my brown one the other did survive. So I thought I better put a camera on them and the sheep. I cleaned the Sheep stalls out and forgot the camera was on so I thought I just post the pics any way. That’s Bucko in that one pic besides me. He follows me every where. I’m beginning to think I’m a pet owner instead of a farmer with these animals lol. Baby chicks are growing move them to the Barn no pics yet. Still no garden in it will not stop raining so the garden can dry up.
