I would like to have a couple of jackets hanging/thrown on the truck. I would appreciate some pointers on how to go about making them.

cheers

New one for me

Could you roll a thin sheet of milliput?....cut the shapes needed for jacket and sleeves and put together?......would it look natural?

Thin milliput or green stuff is how I’ve seen it done before….not in my wheelhouse though, so good luck Scottie

From my very limited use of tissue paper and pva, that method might be a contender?
You can get quite small and detailed tarps using that method, so I don't see why you could not use it for clothes? but would be very fiddly.
Eg: cut out tissue paper to size/shape you need, if necessary use multiple layers, fold and arrange in the way you want them to be, then apply pva and allow to dry, can then paint and/or apply washes, etc.
You can also build up layers, so maybe do the main body first, then add arms, sleeves, legs, collars, etc?
Might be worth a try, theres a few good YT vids on how to make tarps, so the same method would be used....

I would use Green stuff mixed with magic sculpt. This makes a good medium to model small details at 1/35 scale. I don't think rolling out a thin sheet and cutting to shape would work well, rather get a good photo or two and sculpt the thing with the hook built in. Sculpt it horizontal on a flat surface and, when dry, simply lift and attach the hook to your final position.

Thanks Peter, your right their not cheap but it will give me a pattern to work to. Thanks for taking the time into looking.

Some great ideas. Those rather pricey ones that Peter flagged up should give you ideas to work on. I would try thin, rolled out Milliput. I'm sure that with your skills you can achieve something very acceptable.

Thanks Jim, nothing ventured nothing gained as me old dad used to say. I will try a couple of different ways as suggested, and see what I like the best.
