Got a bit more done here, all the antennas are fitted, the two inner ones were added using 0.5mm plastic rod as they werent supplied in the kit.
Back end is done, the two inner out of the four connecting rods were made of brass rod as the kit parts we weren't long enough.
And as the stand was only comprised of the two end parts for the boat to be balanced on or glued to ive added two spars to make it all one piece and given it a coat of aluminium.
also the stowage boxes have been painted and ive added some painted strips of 1mm tape.

So i thought it about time i made an effort to get this finished, dinghy now painted after not being happy with the paint first time and using mr hobby tool cleaner to strip the paint:confounded:bad move. It started melting the plastic! That left me with the sand, prime ,sand, prime,sand, prime scenario, great fun. Anyway, only a couple of little bits left to go.
Good recovery with the dinghy. I covered mine with a tarp :rolling:. Looks great.
