I think ''laptop'' might have a different meaning tonight for the lad :) :) :)

Congratulations from myself and Elaine.

The very best wishes for the future .... stick at it, keep her happy, keep yourself happy and you wont go far wrong ...... and don't forget that ''marriage'' is a thing invented by bank managers to get you into debt :) :)

9am Sunday. Hotel breakfast....Winston Churchill's reply when told his fly was undone.....

"No matter, the dead bird will not leave the nest."

Replace Winston for guess who?

Night night, Mr and Mrs John......

All the very best wishes to you both. Hopefully, as with me, it will be the best thing you will ever do. Just never loose the ability to talk and buy her flowers before she sees the next kit.

Hope your new missus realises what she's let herself in for. Gotta be a plastic fanatic if you're checking out the forum on your stag night!

Still now you're properly wed, you'll always have someone to hold your gluepot for you.

All the best for the future.

Gern

PS You'll have noticed Ron's reached 43 years. He should be finishing his marriage apprenticeship about now so if you need any tips, he's the man!

PPS If that lovely young lady in your avatar isn't your new bride or your sister, you'd better change it quick!

Congratulations John and the new Mrs John, I do hope everything went well and dandy...

Take care and stay safe...

Andy...

Colin. We didn't have a Honeymoon as such, but moved into our 'new' house straight after the wedding and had our honeymoon there.I was building a surf board at the time and spent most of the honeymoon fibre glassing! I received my first bo***cking, when the blushing bride discovered I had glassed in her brand new and pretty tea towel onto the board for a bit of colour....

Our marriage didn't end in two weeks, but still goes on into our 43rd year!
43 years, well done. I wonder if you are our longest married member of the forum ??

Just practising in the 53 year for the 54th. Strange coincidence Pauline has the smae timeline. Thought I had seen her around. Remarkably like someone I met 54 years ago. Memory.

Laurie
