Just wondered what people use for the mirrors on model car wing mirrors?

I've used Bare Metal foil or even normal cooking foil in the past

You can now get very good chrome paint pens which would probably do the job nicely - PEN

Hi Jay, Simons advice is sound, but you can also get vinyl mirror chrome sheet on places like eBay as well. It is much more “mirror like” in appearance. You can get enough to do as many cars as you would ever want to for a couple of pounds. If you haven’t used it before, BMF is relatively easy to use and is unbeatable for chrome detailing on civilian vehicles though.
