Did these while I was waiting for the Tamiya group build to start. These guys were in primer for a good ten years, and I should probably have washed them first because I had some paint adhesion problems. Almost never finished by the start date either because I’d forgotten how complicated French Nappy’s are to paint.

Very nice. What's fun with your pics is that, on screen, they come out the size of the 3-up master figures!

Perry's make such damn good figures. I should really finish up those Austrian Hussars...

Amazing. You really do have the painting of these tiny figures well sorted. Very colourful.
Cheers Jim. Always amazes me they went out to fight dressed like this. Apparently it was a French thing to dress up for battles to look good for the bullets…..

Cheers Steve. These are plastics so I’m not sure three ups were done for them, don’t know what’s involved in making the moulds. I know what you mean though 👍. Love to see your Austrian hussars. Most colourful troops of the period I think…..

Superb paint work Tim. I've heard of allowing time for primer to dry before painting; you most definitely adhered to that theory
Certainly did….not even sure what primer I used now 😂. I do know they were the first ones I used Vallejo flesh wash on, and I’ve used it ever since. Thanks for the compliment as well 😉
