Hello guys and gals,

Ian suggested it would be okay to introduce my site on here.

I'm an artist that specialises primarily in pencil and acrylic art. I paint any subject matter: pets, animals, houses, landscapes, or portraits of loved ones. However, as you'll see, aviation is a personal passion and the most requested type of art for commissions.

Please feel free to take a look at my blog, and if you have any questions, drop me a PM. I do sell my work and offer commissions. If you just want to follow my artwork, then please do save to your favs and have a look now and then.

Aviation Art by AJay

Warm regards to my modelling friends, Alex

Hi alex, ive been on your site before and im always in awe of your superb talents . Theres something very magical about a well done black and white pencil drawing , it sort of draws you in and creates a complete sense of realism, - as you might have guessed im a BIG fan! Keep up the excellent work mate , you deserve every success with your enterprise , cheers tony

I paint and draw myself so i know how difficult it can be to get perspective, depth and detail in a fine balance so the end result looks decent.

You manage this very well, and seem to introduce a glint of life in your portraits, which is no easy task on something 2D.

Impressive stuff Alex.

So how much does a commission cost then...If you don't wish to post it here you can send me a pm.

Thanks, Ian! I'll drop you an email. The prices are very reasonable, especially when you consider the many hours of work.

Ian, I've tried to PM you twice on here but my messages are not showing as 'sent'. Did you get them? If not please give me your email address. Thanks.

Nice work ajay, I've always wanted to be able to draw but stick men are my limit.

Hi Alex, yes I did get the messages. You have to tell your messenger window that you want to keep a copy of sent posts. Took me forever to figure that out as well.

It in the General settings in your profile: My settings>my account>General settings. Click the radio button about half way down the page. That should do the trick and your sent messages will be save to your sent message folder.
