Here's a couple of pics, got things pretty much sorted out with the Missus, she gets her side of the house {kitchen, living room, dining room, master bedroom} and I get the other side.

Mainly, the other two bedrooms {my own bathroom:)} and family room, which is really just another living room.

Ahh, bliss  once you toss the kids out:cool: We do meet in the middle though:rolleyes: when we want to cuddle;).......Jim:)

what a cool aquarium, like the frog, and what type of fish is that,

it dose not try to eat the frog,or the frog his dinner ?:eek:

nice little setup you have there, ;)

my bad half wont let me ever have a aquarium, and made me get rid of my lizards,

should of had a man eating snake, then I could of keeped them, :D

Yeah, we've always had some sorts of aquariums, terrariums and the like. many years ago I had a rather large collection of snakes, everything from tiny garden snakes to huge pythons

the Missus hated them but the boys loved them. Now we're down to two aquariums {his and hers}.

The frog is an African clawed frog, completely aquatic and gets along splendidly with the Alligator Gar, I have an unlimited food supply for them, I just set my minnow trap in our backyard pond

and collect plenty of small fish , tadpoles and small frogs which they love to gobble up.

In winter I feed them small strips of venison or any type of raw meat or fish.

The Missus loves the little harmless types of tropical fish, They bring life into the house and are good for the soul. She also loves the little black devil as I call her, but I must admit she is quite precious.

Some of the pics are a bit iffy, Oh, I also love my music;)

A revamped cave!

Pain rack by yours truly - it will win no awards but it works for me. There is a compressor underneath and the spray booth will be moved to the front when needed. So now I have two desks across the room, plenty of space.

The two storage boxes are from Ikea (£16 ea) as is the desk, trestle and set of drawers which are designed to be a support for the table top. I'm going to paint the boxes in a nice gloss.

Plenty of room for more paints though!

Well then I am slowly getting the new man cave sorted out. It's actually starting to look like something!

Stil a few more shelves to make and bits to find and the odd bag of trash to take out but it beats the old one.

Unpacking the few aircraft was fun, they where all packed in lose polybeads, spent bloody ages with a pipe cleaner getting them out of all the small nooks and crannies!
Out of a whole box with Spitfire, Seafires, Hurricanes and a few other oddities, only one was damaged, the wing folded SeaFire one of the wings has dropped off...

More later...

The only reason it is neat and tidy is because I have yet to use it... Still fitting it out-

Now that is a space, nice one. However, things are changing here, space will soon be mine......

Well at last, I'm nearly a paid up member of the Man cave club. The story goes, daughter No1, moves out to her own house. Daughter No.2 gets promoted to the bigger bedroom. The Guinea pigs get promoted from the old play room, to daughter No.2's room and I get the Guinea pigs room. Yes this does mean I rank below the Guinea pigs in this house, I know.

The play room. It has been suggested I keep the clouds and hang planes up just like I did all those years ago. Well, no.

I'm nearly 50, rolling fields and fluffy white clouds are going.

It was a battle to cover that blue up, but its all gone now.

View attachment 261283

This picture still shocks and confuses me. The wife, decorating. I think she wants me and my models out of the lounge.

View attachment 261284

All traces of play room are gone. The desk will go under the window and the shelves / display cabinets will be going on this wall.

The first addition to the room, a bit of digital art.

Oh yes, nearly forgot, look what John sent me. Some of those Hobby Zone storage things - time for some PVA fun.
