...... and it's a warm welcome from me too Mark,
I look forward to seeing you around the parish :thumb2:

Welcome Mark. With a handle like Sundowners I guess you have a hankering for a certain US squad.

Welcome, welcome, welcome. Rochdale NY? You vacation in Key Largo? Never been, but always sounded cool.

Welcome to the forum, if you ask a question and you get no answer, do not worry, we are all asleep. Us old ones need our sleep, but we do let the younger ones out to play occasionally.

Welcome to the Forum and back to the fun!

Modelling is still sort of the same - gluing bits together then painting - but it has become more sophisticated
I think perhaps the biggest changes have been the introduction of sprue cutters, acrylic paint, and an airbrush

There are loads of YouTube videos on starting models, techniques such as liquid glue, airbrushing, and making up a kit from the box to the finished model
Watch them and you'll see the latest ideas.

A goodly welcome from me too Mark, enjoy your return to the hobby.
Nick
