Sorry for all the pics but i had to place them in position just to get a feel for it. I rather like it lol.

Tree on far left is the one still requiring painting and flocking.

Looks great, those trees are really popping - after watching you working on this, tempted to break out my original base and see if I can improve that.

They look fantastic in place Alan!!! Your hard work has paid off well. This will be a great platform for your armor kits to take photos too....

Prost

You've really raised the bar with this Alan. All the hard work has paid off. It's looking superb.

Ha Alan, just seen this. Your trees look incredible, what process do you use?

Cheers guys

The trees are made from two different sources. The big ones are from real branches from trees and heather i picked up then dried out. The smaller ones are from sea foam branches.

First they are painted with the colour i want to use, then i use spray adhesive for the glue. The 'leaves' are a scatter from a company called Treemendus. I love their products. Excellent for the scale.

Missed a few updates! Sorry.

Those trees are brilliant Al. The dio is looking better and better each time you add to it.
Loved the little loop of rope to hold the gate shut as well.

No need to be sorry Ian. We all miss things with the rate that topics are replied to on here :)

Looking at this, makes me want to 'attack' my first attempt, which was sort of a similar scene (posted a photo of it in the 'critique' section when I first joined) and go 'all out' with what I've learned since.

Gerry. I would even do mine differently if i started again. It's a continuous learning process. But i'm getting there. Should really crack on with this one as well lol

Well slight accident with this 'stalled' build today. I took it off the SoD to do a little work on it as the foliage is coming off. I need to seal it onto the trees better.

Whilst cleaning it up i dropped it. Not far granted but enough to break all the big trees off it. So i am going to have to recover this as much as i can. Still i suppose it gives me a chance to improve the ground cover before i fit the trees back onto it. Some of it has seriously faded so needs replacing. Still a little gutted though. Took so much time and effort to get this far with it.
