Im not much of a wingy thing builder but like to dabble every now and then

Looks very nice, especially for someone who "likes to dabble every now and then"👍

I think what helped was the quality of the kit........the one thing i hate about plane kits is how much filler you need to use and all the sanding....especially the wing roots and fuselage seams....but this went together without much of that

I'm fancying one of these myself so good to know it bolts together well.

Yes lovely P-51, not the easiest finish either with the aluminium, cheers 👍
 
Very nice Mustang, I think it turned out great!
 
Very nicely done indeed. I have a few Mustangs in the stash, both Airfix and Eduard.

Keep thinking I should do one.
