I like it. Cracking decals too!

Just the right amount of 'Chipping' on the prop/ cowl.....Nice one Ian.

Ron

Damn good stuff Ian ........... Superb build, and a great, slightly worn and well used look. Five Big stars from me Matey.

Peter

Top work Ian , the nat metal finish is bang on , and the weathering and chipping are superbly done , just right! Great job mate , cheers tony

I really like this - that's one heavily-armed P-47 you've got there, Ian. I'd echo what others have said about the natural metal finish (that's the NMF, Amos) - how did you manage to get it looking so good with just Vallejo paints?

Excellent looking Jug Ian! That's a very natural finish, not super shiny but just right.

Hi Doug many thanks for the great comment I treat it just as if I was using Alclad paints in the fact that it should go on a very smooth surface

great looking build Ian,just right not over done with the weathering ,very nice looking bird, ;)

Oooooh!! Its the version of the Thunderbolt that "floats my boat", bubble canopy, rockets, etc, etc!!

Very nicely done!! :)

Wonderful work Ian. Superbly finished and weathered. Awesome looking Thunderbolt.

That is one lovely looking aircraft and build. Truly worthy of the 5 star build.

That is the bee's knees.

Great finish over all, but as others have said, great job on the NMF. Which paint was it that you used. Model air? Model color? I always find model color a bit to metallic paint like...if you know what I mean.

Great job

Ian M

Outstanding great build, I hate silver, I can never get a good look with it, but you have. Great job
