I'm sure it will build into a fantastic, detailed (if diminutive) model. It is definitely one of the more complex aircraft of the Great War. Looking forward to the progress.

Well i started this today, and Oh My God it must be the WORST kit iv'e ever had. Flash every where the fitting is just terrible and how the parts are attached to the sprue is criminal

Pegasus are a low out put/limited production company. So if you are expecting clean and tidy, you picked the wrong kit Ian.

In short the "master" is scratch built and the 'sprue' is normally wax rod 'welded to the parts with more wax. These are then used to make a silicon mould into which the hot plastic mass is manually pumped into the mould.

Not enough pressure and the parts do not fill out, to much and the actual mould parts and you get loads of flash.

Some of these kits are pretty good. Others not so good. I am just getting over a Blue Max Avro 504. Though not as bad as your, it was still a challenge.

Take comfort in the fact that these type of kits are made be rivet counters (more often than not) so they have the right size and shape.

Hi Ian

Stick with it I'm sure you'll win through. Believe it or not I've seen and built worse. Limited run kits or kits by smaller companies tend to be a bit more of a challenge. The progress you've made looks very clean and precise.

Got the cockpit put together a LITTLE bit of filler needed View attachment 43512 View attachment 43513 View attachment 43514 But to be honest this is the hardest bit the wings and tail plane are all solid cast so should go together with little problems. Then its just the RIGGING to do
