Finally got this one completed. I had the plane finished ages ago it just took some time to work out how to show it, I'm still not one hundred present happy with the base, I may just get a nice block of wood varnished yet.

But here it is for now I hope you like it

That's very nice Ian, the head-on shot is particularly menacing!

I think the base is fine - maybe a backdrop photo to set it off?

"Pshhh,pshhh...EE Lightning Alpha one, landing on track two please!!!" :D

Cool and original! I like it very much Ian ;)

Ouch!!! What a mistake (mine)!! It's hasn't opened the landing gear...

Nicely done Ian , I wanted to do that scheme but I can't paint all over silver

Stunning, just stunning, takes you right back to the 60's when this fighter was a new front line fighter...the looks the speed the elegance, a true fighter that looked the part and yet looked so beautiful. Top work, just amazing!

Si:)

Superb work Ian matey, it looks fantastic screaming down the runway . The finish is top class , theres something about a silver lightning thats just magical , takes me back to the Finningley airshow when i was a kid , the 'lightning climb' was always something to see (and hear!!) great build , cheers tony

hey polux his landing gear arent down lol, what a lovely colour and looks soo smooth, certainly is an eye catcher like the real thing.i love it

Brilliant. The in flight mode is great. Must build one of these sooooon...............

Very nice indeed.

Love the base. At that height and speed he is going to get chewed off a new one when he lands.

Love it

I must get myself a 1/32nd scale one of these

Awesome build Ian. I like the base, it looks like he is about to go vertical.

Looks like it is the week for Lightnings !

I must say I do like yours in the metal finish :-D

It just looks way faster than mine, well done

Theuns
