It is the more recent moulding from 2011 that Airfix A6M2 kits are based on. The colour guide has changed slightly for the scheme, from 'Beige' Humbrol 90 to 'Hemp' Humbrol 168, which is deemed to be more accurate.
Looks a really nice little kit Ian , if I hadnt already got my build subject then I would have definitely been getting one of these . I’ll be watching closely , cheers tony
