discussion PBI (Poor Bloody Infantry)

Reading Memorial Posts et al I had a thought (unusually!) - perhaps a wide-ranging GB covering 'Poor Bloody Infantry'. Any scale, any format (ie Dioramas, V Busts, Individual soldiers, etc,etc, etc) any scenario, any period (Ancient to Modern). Almost by definition the main point of interest would be Tommy, Poilu, Evzone, Veteran, SF, Rookie or any other permutation thereof. Time frame would be the latter part of next year. Anybody interested/Intrigued?

Figures are not something I’ve ever done before apart from badly painted 1/72 pilot figures

They do intrigue me though so this would be a great excuse to have a go at some

Haven't cancelled this idea but there has been much going on recently!! If interest is still piqued let's decide a time frame, ask for more participants, then throw ourselves on the mercy of those wonderful Admin Gods for ratification. What say my fellow Grunts?

I'd like to join in the fun. Does this have to start from scratch? I have modified figures that will need painting for a Dio with just one more to complete the scene on hold. Definitely will start the painting nearer the end of this year after all the final sculpturing is done. The painting would take about a GBs timeline for me.

No worries Richard, if your figures are started then so be it! My intention is just to empathise with the 'common soldier' of all times and origins - an added boost is the end of WW2 this year as well. I want this to be as easy, non restrictive, wide ranging and empathic as possible!
