Hi I have found if you cut the brush square you get a much better finish and a drop of water may help to and apply in thin coats.

Not really had a problem with the application just the mixing takes a long time, it might be because I don't use a airbush, just use to hairy sticks all the time or just luck.

My brush updated.

After two coats, not to bad.

This is has had just one thin coat

Thank you for looking in.

Hi got the second coat on last night and laid down the camo pattern it's only the first coat so a bit wishy washy.

The beginnings of camo pattern.

Thank you for looking in.
Pete.

Looking good I'm managing the paint ok so far (famous last words) on my sea king. I might be tempted into building something else after this one.

Dave

That is looking rather splendid, even with 'limited' resources. Everybody says the 'free' paint is rubbish.

Hi sorry it's me again, finish all the hairy stick work and touching up just the canopy and decals to do.

I hope you like it, it's not to good in places as you can see sorry but it's the best I can do with what was supplied in the box.

Hi if you think the paint and gule are not that good, you will have fun with the decals.

Got the decals on.

Just the cockpit to paint and then I'm out of here.

Pete.

Hi Pete
That looks very nice especially given the Starter Kit challenge
The decals look to have gone on well. Any problems with them going onto a brush painted Matt surface?

Hi Jim take a bit of soaking to start with and if possible use paper towel and pat them dry, I found using cotton buds it rolled the decal off.

Thats looking great Pete.
Hi Ian, almost there with this one, I think I chose the right the right kit, one of two people seem to be having trouble with their paints and painting or it might be that I'm used to brush painting as I only brush paint, I don't if !
