discussion Picture loading difficulty.

In replying to a thread I tried to attach a picture to it. I lifted a picture from my pc pictures files to where I should be able to attach it to the post. I was expecting to see it loading when I clicked it in the attach here point. Instead of that whfen I clicked it my screen just filled completely with the picture, but could see that it did not copy into the thread when I cleared my pc screen ! I was expecting it to work in a similar fashion to how I attach a picture to an email as the attach feature in the post looks identical to my email attach feature.
Any ideas why feature is not working as there appears to be no indication that pictures need to be loaded from a host site ?

Well I have just uploaded a whole lot of photos and they worked as expected.
Click on attach file: Your image files on your computer opens. Choose the image from your placering and click open somewhere in the bottom right of the screen.
The file should upload to your post window (where you write you bit.
Place the cursor in the text where you wish the image to show.
Click insert then click full image. The image should appear, as if by magic there where you told it to.

One Question though. Why are you posting photos in other peoples threads?

It should be working, you attache then you will see a thumbnail

Click the link that says thumbnail or full image

If you look at the thread San Francisco Cable car I added a post after a number of years that I had completed a similar model.
A reply to it asked if I had any pictures. If you search that subject you will see why. Hope this answers your question.

Another method…… Click the picture icon in the reply box, click where it says drop image on the window that opens, navigate to the folder that your image is stored in on your device, then add it. Should work for you

You can also copy and paste the image in to the reply box, I use that quite a bit for things like screenshots
