So, here's the WIP of my 28mm Polish armour. So many Vickers variants!
Vehicles and figures are all from the Warlord range

Left to right - 7TP twin turret, 7TP single turret (early), 7TP, Vickers E single turret Polish, Vickers E twin turret


And now here they are with Wz.29 armoured car and TKS tankette, in overall Polish yellow-grey

So, now the how we got here pictures:
Warlord only do the single turret Polish Vickers E with larger intakes, so, time for a LOT of filler, and a template off the twin turret standard 7TP

My modified T-26 into a Bolivian basic Vickers E(A) for comparison

I dug out the intakes because the moulding does not look great

The single turret Vickers has the turret on the wrong side; as you can see the driver would be squeezed up in the front. So, more filler, more drilling!

Warlord do a sets of tank crew figures for their vehicles, and most have separate heads so you can change them about... Especially with their French. Plastic arms are from their multipose British infantry

Repkacement grill from rod. It's, okay...

...but better with the frame round it

Turret supports added. They're moulded on their T-26s, but not here

Driver and replacement hatch

There are holes to mount lights, but none supplied. Again, the T-26s have them moulded on. So rod and the noses of a couple of spare shells, and we're good

And now, the 7TPs. On the left, the stock model. The twin turret version has the early hull, as also used by the first production single turrets

TKS Tankette with 20mm FK-A cannon, which turned out to be nghtmare for the Germans - too small to see but heavily armed enough to take out most panzers. Possibly the only time any Carden-Lloyd-based gankettes were ever useful
I've replaced the soft and bendy barrel with aluminium tube, with the original muzzle brake added

This is the version armed with a machine gun, so the one Chris built would have even less room inside

I've got the IBG 1/35 20mm armed TKS, bought to get the Hakata Polish colours. It's small enough for me to keep...
I inted to use the TKS to make a C2P tractor. My 'spare' 7TP is going for a C7P artillery tractor

I COULD do a TKS with an interior, using the IBG kit for reference...

On with the green. This is the Hakata Polish AFV green which looks very light, but then my references show a very grass shade and a darker green, both in the same book. And neither look like this. Trying a bit of an experiment in free-handing it on the TKS's and it doesn't look too bad so far. I'm using the 'hi-flow' nozzle on my Aztek brush for the first time, so it's all new. Not too worried about what looks, in the photo, the slightly patchy green on the Wz.29 as there's still the brown to go on.
One concern is that the blu-tack might take the base sand off. As I was pushing the blu-tack into place, it was scraping clear
We'll see...

Just found I've got scale plans of the TK-3, forerunner of the TKS - so that'll be a conversion coming. Probably a C2P tractor version
Perhaps even an interior with open hatches...

Quick update - I'm playing around with my airbrush. It's an Aztek job with different heads for different flow rates

The green was with the 'hi-flow', the brown with the 'medium flow'. Unless I've labelled them the wrong way round. Just needs a bit of touch up.
Haven't posted the Wz.29 as it needs a lot more work. the blu-tack didn't take off the base colour, but it did leave some odd shapes and edges

Did the airbrush came in a box with storage slots for the nozzles? If so, my solution may work for you: I’ve put them into those slots from biggest on the left to smallest on the right. This because I can never remember which colour is supposed to be which

Yup, grey is medium, which I used for the brown. The white nozzle I used for the green. I'll probably be using the brown 'fine' nozzle for touch up, and to see how that goes. This is all kind of experimental freehand work for me as I've had the airbrush years, but still do lots with cans - the joy of single-colour schemes and hard-edged brush paintwork on vehicles. Of course, I also have to experiment with the different airflow settings on the brush itself and the compressor

Jakko, would you believe all the nozzles are kept carefully in their own containers, in a paper back with the paint-moving syringe (which is itself too big to fit into the Hakata bottles)!

I think I have tan, grey, light blue and red, and I think that’s the order from big to small — but I’m not sure, because I’m not near my airbrush at the moment

Mine are in their containers too, but in the wooden box the airbrush came in.

Jakko, the packaging on my second white nozzle says 'high flow'. Guess I'll just test them all at the same settings. Never seen a red or blue one to buy.

Most useful, if not very legible. The differences in flow/area are also dependent on pressure, even though the brush itself, and the compressor, are adjustable. Obviously.
I should have taken more time to practice over the years. Have to see if I can find a printable version
