Thanks Mick, not quite in the same league as a certain F16 I can think of !Just had a catch up with your build Colin and its looks really good

Light thin coats of paint Colin. Thanks Mick, not quite in the same league as a certain F16 I can think of !
Work continues, the first part of the top coat has been applied. Ok, so what am I doing here? Well, I’m having a go at pre-shading with the top coat. A little odd, yes, will it work, maybe. However, if I don’t try to do something, I run the risk of having a huge area of boring Extra Dark Sea Grey.
Now it’s time for me and the compressor to have a little rest.
That’s the plan. But it takes some time to build up the layers and the poor compressor does get a bit warm.Light thin coats of paint Colin.
Forcing ourselves to stop and walk away can be difficult sometimes. I put that down to me being impatient.Good call looks great to me.
Thanks Ernie. Unfortunately, the cost of these kits has ‘taken’ off. I was lucky and bought mine ages ago, when prices were reasonable.Looks great. I am enjoying your build, the old Matchbox Sea Venom is a kit I have always wanted to build but not gotten around to.
