Hi Peter
An iconic aircraft. You could paint it black like those which flew secret night missions into France.

If you had an original Matchbox boxing of it, you could leave it unpainted entirely to save even more ;)

This is one of those kits that I would like to build, but where would I leave a 1:32 scale aeroplane? It’ll be interesting to follow you putting it together.

Well I'm in for the ride. They have a certain look about them that I like...

First side sort of done I have tried to busy it up with a bit of detail and weathering. IMG_20220128_151415.jpg

I have just received a set af airscale instruments as the instrument panel seems to be a bit bare. IMG_20220129_144116.jpg

Instrument panel finished (I know I am jumping the gun) and the two sides finished off with a few instruments not acrurate but it looks better than nothing IMG_20220130_112559.jpgIMG_20220130_112624.jpgIMG_20220130_112615.jpg

I have one of these, it sits on my fish tank - needless information there. I built the black Shuttleworth collection version. The good news is, I don't recall any problems with this build. It's a really nice kit.

Time to reacquaint myself with this kit after finding all the parts out and got them fitted together. IMG_20220319_151213.jpg

Hi Peter
That's looking very good. Those decals for the dials look very useful.
