
Then I added exhaust deflectors using thin plastic strip on both sides. This particular aircraft has it and not all were modified with it. I don't know if it was a standard fixture in later models.
I think loosing the front canopy as I noticed the side attachments weren't curved as in the Amar kit reference I was following. So I have added some plastic strip and will carve and clean it up for the canopy I'm making.

Still looking rough with dust and all but mission accomplished after the cut and sanding. Now to the polishing and dipping.
