Wabble that was not clever lol. I hate those things I have one in the house nut won't use it.
Hope all goes ok Richard. Unfortunately that will curtail your modelling for a while.
Hope it heals well Richard. I sliced the top of a finger to the bone with a power planer aa few years ago, and it grew back but was very sensitive for about a year.
Pete
Ouch ! Been there done that richard . Thirty odd years ago took the top 3/4 inch off the same finger and went halfway through the pinkie . They flipped the top of the pinkie and sewed it back but the end of the third finger disappeared up the extractor , never to be seen again!
hopefully youll be back in action soon , speedy recovery and stay out of the kitchen in the mean time.
Quite a potatoe slicer horror story Richard! Hope it will heal soon, thankfully those people at the hospital keep on working during the holidaysTake care!

Ouch! That sounds painful Pete.
Cheers,
Wabble
The prop was painted as well except I didn't paint the tips first so it'll take longer with lots of masking ahead.
With extra paint remaing I painted the interior of my Hudson. This shows that I sometimes prefer painting with parts still attached to the sprue. Most of it won't be seen and the clear parts would distort the view anyway. More later.
Looking good Wabble and happy new year
The dark patches were just black sprayed earlier to see what it looked like with some cordite stains from the guns and shell chutes. The opening for the shell chutes ought to be larger but the aircraft will be glued down to the base so won't be seen. The drop tanks would make it even more difficult to see when in place.Yes spraying paint, hours of masking and then a few pulls on the trigger... Looks like you also found a way to recreate 'PUR foam insulation' in 1/72.
Have fun
Looks good Richard. Always nice to see some paint go on.
