Morning chaps, long time no post. :)

Life has continued to get in the way so progress has been very slow. I managed to get a whole days modelling in yesterday so pushed on.

Essentially I've been building, got most of the exterior bits done along with the rear load bay, turret and various associated parts.

I've also been thinking about what to put in the back so bought a couple of accessory kits. Not sure how much of this I will use yet.

Hi Bob
More than impressed. Very neat work. A selection of those accessories will be the icing on the cake. Those ratchets look good. I didn't imagine anyone made them.

Cheers Jim. :)

Yep, the ratchet straps are awesome, I saw them on somebody else's build online and just had to find and buy them.

'Must haves' would be coolers for necessaries, extra ammo, sniper rifle for long work, SAWs come in handy, litres of gun oil to keep SAWs operating and extra gas cause everyone forgets to check.

Cheers guys. :)

Paul, I'm going to chuck a couple of M4's into the cab, but I didn't think they would carry uncased .50's and SAW's in the back. I'm going to add a couple of boxes of Evian somewhere or other along with some MRE's, and maybe a cheeky crate of beer.

Sorry, got carried away, was thinking of in-total (4 seats 2M4s) not just CITB. On second look they don't have door window mounts for SAWs like some old hummers. Prolly cause windows too small. Beer is good.

Paint & assembly work outstanding thus far. Was just thinking what I'd want along in a hostile environment.

Afternoon gents. :)

I've spent the last couple of weeks getting the rest of the parts cleaned up, put together in sub-assemblies and painted.

I had a paint spillage during the priming stage (luckily not on any parts) so decided it was about time I bought a lid for my paint-cup. Then I remembered that I have a lathe now, so made one instead.

With that in place I carried on with the colours.

So with that all done I just need to add a few decals and then get everything attached to the chassis, then on with the fun bit - Weathering. :)

Absolutely stunning work there Bob, and that's just the new AB cap!! ;)

In all seriousness the cap is great and model is coming on really well.

Keep up the great work.

ATB.

I like it, it suits my size requirements, I can't fit anything bigger in my workshop.
