Hi all
First one is now assembled. The OOB example still needs more paint. Once they are both done I will work on the basing. Here are some shots to be going on with.

The gun has been roped down using Eze line heavy, then painted with earth colour. The metal parts have been highlighted with a 6B pencil to give them a metallic shade. The wear areas on the tracks don’t show well in the pictures but they are there...
Hope you like it, and if you want more info, please ask.

Hi Tim
That is very, very nice indeed. More impressive at 1/72. The tub of brush cleaner really brings home just how much detail you have got into such a small model. Figures work well.

Thanks Jim. Glad you like it. One more to do, then basing......

It doesn't get much better than that. Very fine work indeed Tim.
Many thanks Peter, though I’ve just not I forgot to paint the shell in the loaders hand! Can’t get at it now though :flushed:

Very impressive Tim, and looks like you had a lot of fun in the process. I very much enjoyed learning how to do a better job at fig. painting. Thanks for sharing with us. Rick H.

So, that's a jumbo party bucket of brush soap, right? :tongue-out2:

As Jim says it really puts a perspective on the build, showing just how much detail you have packed into a tiny volume. Love it!

Cheers Andy. Most of the visible detail is actually on the kit. I would recommend S models unreservedly. The fit, finish, and detail were top notch.

Happy New Year Tim. I have had a great catch up reading through your blog. Your work is a real joy to watch.
