Agreed on all of those pointsthey are tiring but I think they are worth it in the end the hard thing is trying to keep them the same size.

The kit ones can look ok but another reason I like to replace then where possible is I do use them to tie things down by passing the strap/rope through them.Agreed on all of those points :smiling3: Though usually I’m satisfied with the kit-supplied version, sometimes you don’t have a real choice but to replace a lot or all.
Removed the moulded on tie downs and replaced them with copper wire versions.
Like most US vehicles there are lots of them, whether I replace them all remains to be seen.Feeling your pain mate. Just done six of these on my Stug. :smiling5: :thumb2:

Thanks Steve I will bear that in mind.That does look flimsy. Your doing a great job. Dont use masking fluid to mask off the dials. I did that once and it all seeped into the dials and ruined them. Keep up the great work my friend
