Scotties Rolls Royce

Ordered and on their way to me. Many thanks
With amount of fuel cans you had these will come in handy Steve.:smiling3:

Excuse us Paul.

Looking good, and can see your reasoning about the door. Of course they wouldn't go to far, they were RAF not us REME types :smiling3::smiling3::nerd:

Superb work Scottie, I haven't seen that set before but certainly provides a nice variety of cans

Cheers John, I have a good mate in the RAF Regiment and I constantly joke "never outside the wire"
Beautiful job Paul!! I'm a bit slow, but glad that I caught up eventually!
Andy
Andy, No worries at all thanks for looking in and the kind words.
Scottie, just caught up, excellent job all round.
Mike.
Cheers Mike appreciate it.

Wow…this is superb Paul..sorry that I missed so many posts along the way but glad I had the chance to check back in..OUTSTANDING WORK!

Started adding crap in the back, then thought to myself the doors on the back were the way in and out of the vehicle apart from the turret so they would need to open. So with this in mind I added some stuff to one side only to allow one door to be used. I have no idea if this correct but it works for me.
I also reasoned given this was and RAF vehicle in probably wouldn't wonder that far from home.

cheers
Scottie
RAF? Wot no camp beds, sun shades and beer coolers ...? Disgraceful!

A start has been made on the base. The stones still need to be picked out with assorted shades to make them stand out a bit.

Next a building based very loosely on a picture of a North African building. Made from blue foam and given a light coat of plaster it will need a few more coats.

A bit of pre shading then a couple of thin coats of off white.

started to make some details form some 0.6 bass wood. The window/balcony has mesh instead of glass.

cheers
Scottie

Scottie can only really repeat whats gone before it seems were all running of worthy words i know a few that could be used but wouldn't go down well so you only get a giant thumbs up. Dave

Great looking base, and the building is coming on a treat as well. They will be a worth backdrop for this excellent build.

Thanks Tim, this is my first real attempt at a desert scene and building, as always there is room for improvement but fairly happy so far.
Coming on very nicely indeed.

Andrew
Thanks Andrew for dropping by and commenting.
