Always available Andrew, probably be able to do a half decent job now I've made all the mistakes on mine

What size are you looking at?

Hoping two more weeks and I will be finished interior......

Looking very good indeed. It will make a fine bolt hole to escape this crazy world we live in.

Wow...I can only dream of having a shed of my own. Firstly there's no space and secondly needs a whole new plan to cool it 365 days in a year. Ply won't last the humidity here either.
But well done on your shed progress...I'm just green with envy. :smiling2:

Cheer,
Richard

So humidity down to <40% and humidifier only runs intermittently as does heater maintaining about 18C.

Made trestles today for work bench which will be a 3.5m oak work too leaving space for tool chests and a compressor underneath.

Also fitted hinged shutters to windows today and waiting for paint to come so I can cost the window side black. Needs some touch up of the white on one shutter I chipped when fitting.

So shutter system complete, outside is black so shed looks empty. That photo is with lights inside on. Put up first shelf brackets. In a bit of a dilemma as to what end model station will be. Looking like far end is best but I had planned to have full length bench and my hot work bench at the end with welder and plasma cutter under it with the main 100L compressor to the right under the bench. Also means I can bracket Oxyacetylene bottles on the side.
I think this maybe better by the door but then I will have to lead air hoses across for the plasma cutter.

Anyway new Yale lock on, also removed all door hinge screws and changed these for single use screws so the door cannot be easily removed.

Tiles for floor and workbench arriving tomorrow. Hopefully be able to make some good progress.

Hopefully end of next week start moving in and redirect my post.

James, I like the idea of painting those windows so nothing can been seen .Going to have some monies worth of tools in there so what a good Idea to have those undo able screws and the new Yale lock.
Looking through the photos I think you've done a splendid job all round.Think my fellow wood butcher 570 Spanner would agree.:smiling3:

Ha ha, thanks John, the paint and filler hides a thousand sins! I am too impatient to be a good carpenter.

Just looking forward to having my tools back at home and being able to start rebuilding the two bikes I have waiting and gathering dust.

A good day all in all.

Worktop here, though storage location doesn't meet universal approval apparently. It's only until Saturday though.

Tiles came, a box short but luckily the 10% extra allowance meant I had 1.5 to spare. Have to see I was very impressed with the tiles, at £11 a sq meter I was amazed by the quality.

Anyway tomorrow or Saturday is grouting and the day after I will fit the bench. Maybe move in Monday all going well.

Square corners make for little waste. Looks great. Is the shed that long or will you be cutting the worktop? PaulE

... looks easy to step over :smiling:

It is looking great and a perfect modelling space.

You wouldn't believe the resistance it's met with lol

I think it maybe easier if I move out there tbh. My stash is also unpopular currently. I sense the 1/32 tamiya tomcat arriving tomorrow while I'm out is also going to have a frosty reception.

No that work top is cut to length already, thought I'd measure anf get professionals to cut the right length to start with and save time.
Turns out they have sent the 58cm off cut too which I'm pondering making an L shape work station with and putting a spray booth on.
