Shock to the system

And a big belated Happy Birthday from me too Mick!!!....60 is great as you now have a reason to to make mistakes at the bench. It's called napping. Happens a lot when you hit that magic age Sir..........Trust me, I'm an expert at it..........

I remember when I was 60 and that wasn't too long ago...like last year. :smiling6: Happy Belated Birthday Mick. Everything starts to sag and go floppy from here on so think and stay young.

Cheers,
Richard

Tad late Mick

Hope you had a good one!

A warm creaking welcome to being over 60! Next stop is retirement homes junk mail, Saga emails and free bus travel!

Apparently I'm now officially ancient according to my family and friends after yesterday I became 60. I certainly don't feel any different to being a 50 something, works still the same, I'm still running and I still have the same aches and creaks. I think it's probably because life is so different now to when I was little as to me my grandparents were always "old people". At least to ease the pain yesterday there was cake but that was short lived with a 4.45am alarm this morning for work :smiling5: :smiling5:
You young kids are all the same moan, moan, grunt, wait untill you become old....
Happy belated birthday.;)

Hello younger than me,
Still not as many wrinkles as me.
Cheers
Older than you.

Happy Birthday for yesterday mate, I also turned 60 this year but happy to say I still feel 80 lol.

.... and free bus travel!
Hey, don't knock it. The wife and I can go into Chester, Wrexham or Shrewsbury for free. No expensive diesel to buy and no parking to pay. Us poor old OAPs need all the help we can get - well according to the press we do as we are all freezing in our homes and living on tea and toast!!
