Apparently I'm now officially ancient according to my family and friends after yesterday I became 60. I certainly don't feel any different to being a 50 something, works still the same, I'm still running and I still have the same aches and creaks. I think it's probably because life is so different now to when I was little as to me my grandparents were always "old people". At least to ease the pain yesterday there was cake but that was short lived with a 4.45am alarm this morning for work :smiling5: :smiling5:

Happy birthday for yesterday Mick . Still running? The law will catch up with you one day :smiling5:
i know what you mean about old people , the ones we thought of as ancient when we were kids were probably a lot younger than we are now but we dont think of ourselves as the same , its all in the mental attitude - if you think and act old you‘ll appear old . Anyway I’m off to play with my aeroplanes and make some slopdosh , cheers tony

A Happy Belated Birthday Mick .
I'm sure I looked on the birthday list yesterday , sorry that I missed it .

I didn't know you were still a teenager Mick!! :tongue-out3: I was just thinking how nice it was when I was 60! Time gets away from us all sooner or later, Hope you had a Great Day and Happy Birthday youngster!!;)

Yep,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY from us down ere in Sunny Devon too Mick :)
Hope you enjoyed your cake!!

Happy Birthday Mike. 60 is the new 40.

Mick,
these days, you aren't considered old, unless you are drawing the State Pension, and have a bus pass! One thing to consider is that it's all downhill from now! :tongue-out3:
Hope you had a good Birthday
Dave

Hope you had a great one Mick. Just remember though, you’re not sixty, your just eighteen with forty two years experience…..

Belated happy birthday Mick. I remember 60... Pity I can't remember what I had for breakfast!
Pete

Happy birthday, Mick.
I'm right behind you (not when you're running, my Achilles' tendon would wail too much, drawing Matron's attention...:cold-sweat:) as I'll get the 60th candle in less than 3 months.:smiling:
