@ Jack. Very nice, it looks like an operating theatre compared to mine :smiling3:

@Ron. That's more like it, it might even make mine look tidy!

This is where it all happens lol
I extended the bench over the end of the room in lockdown as I wanted space for building seperate from where I paint my figures.
The shelf of shame is visible too!

Very tidy. Looks like good stuff on shelves & WIP Jack L.
Experiencing some chair envy 570, that's quite a throne.

Here's mine as of a few minutes ago. I've just taped the two halves of the Whirlwind together to position the instrument panel.

The only thing missing is my magnifier, which was on my head when I took the photo :)

The bubble gun is an added feature, currently in for repairs following some rough handling by one of the grand children!

When I get into the grove of scratch building all hell breaks out. So all you tidy bench people - look away now! :smiling5: :thumb2:

Just a question - is this thread for the bench area exclusively, or can the surrounding areas be shown?

Way back on page one I showed my whole room, so I don’t see why you can’t Steve....

Hope I haven't gone overboard but here's where I retreat to when I can't get an in-depth conversation, on such diverse subjects as Cartesian Mathematics or Probability Theory, with my two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I assure you there is modelling material in there - somewhere!

With rooms like these who needs to go out and get infected. I noticed even here we guys that have a hobby aren't feeling so bottled up unless you run out of thinner or glue. :smiling6:

Cheers,
Richard

Now that’s cool. You have more junk than I do Steve.....nice jacket and colours (can’t see the shako Or Brown Bess). I assume you were/are a Napoleonic re-enacter then?

Tim,
My friend gave me the jacket (Good Home syndrome) with haversack, cross belts etc - but the shako and plate had gone adrift, I had an India Pattern Brown Bess prior to that but it's now in it's rightful position - over the fireplace in my local! The colours are home made with the assistance of a previous wife who was a very talented, and patient teacher, seamstress! No reason why, just seemed like a good idea at the time! I trailed the puissant pike briefly but the Service requirements got in the way of fancy-dress p--- ups! Were you ever a re-enactor?
Steve

Not my sort of thing Steve. Used to like watching the sealed knot though, and saw a fantastic reenactment at Gettysburg when I was on holiday. That one had full cavalry regiments. The pubs the night before were fabulous, soldiers everywhere!
