The Shuttleworth Collection normally has a model show in February.
Details should be up on their website.

Living fairly close I looked at this model show last year, but the admission fee was about 20 quid
It did include Museum entrance, but having already seen the collection I wasn't interested in a revisit.

It's on the 15th of February. Admission is £19.50, or £10 for members.

Agreed it appears a bit expensive for the equivalent of a local model show, but does include access to view the Shuttleworth Collection Museum included in the fee. The car parking was free last year.

The only two other model shows that are pricey are IPMS SMW at Telford ( if you are not a member ), plus current parking costs per day whether you are a member or non member.
Also the Key Publishing Model Show at the NEC plus NEC current parking charges per day.
The size of these two shows naturally reflects the admission charges.

Our club (and I) will be there. Look out for New City Scale Model Club.

Just make sure you wrap up.....it's very cold given that we're in the workshop hanger....and the museum hangars are even colder!

Been to the show myself.
Quite a number of years ago I used to organise Chiltern Scale Model Show in the same hanger at the Shuttleworth in early October each year, just out of their show season, and a bit warmer than February. They suddenly stopped us from running the show there. Cannot understand why we we left the hanger spotless when we finished for the day.. No reason was ever given.
Ironic that the current management rely on Brampton Model Club to organise and run the current model shows, who to be fair, do a good job of it.
Just wish that the show could be organised at a different time of year when it is not freezing cold !

Agree about it being at a bad time of year..... The engineering hangar was ok-ish but the museum sheds were freezing
