SimonT - 1/35 SU-122

Ooooh!! That is nice. Thanks for the ariel shots. Looks like I could have been driving it with all that fender damage:smiling5:. Wonderful detailing as always. It really is a stunning piece of work. Look forward to seeing the next update. Have you had a chance to finish the tracks yet??

Simon,
Fantastic work, now I have seen the effect you can get from copper sheet mud guards I will be looking at that tip for a future build.
Cheers, Mike.

Ay up lad that's some fine crackling. :thumb2::thumb2::thumb2:
Doesn't give us mere earthlings much hope to pass muster though. :smiling3:
John .

Yet again, Simon takes an old kit & turns it into something superb, cracking work.:thumb2:

Hi Simon

Peter, Jim, Paul, Steve, Rick, Mick, Scottie, Mike, Si, John, Graeme, Lee, Monica, Bob - thank you all very much for the positive comments :thumb2:

This one has been chugging on slowly in the background - finally got all the track links drilled out  640 holes is rather mind numbing so it has taken a while

Made a start on assembly but only got about 5cm long section so far - the pins on this set are really tiny and I have already launched five to infinity and beyond never to be seen again

Much more fiddly than the previous Masterclub sets I have assembled

I can see I shall be needing to make some more pins by the end

Assembly will continue a few links at a time so it may be a while before there is another update - I need to get the Range Rover finished as well

Morning John - that's an early start!

I started to post this last night and fell asleep :smiling5:

Just woken up and finished the post - suppose I had better get out of bed and ready for work (at home)

Morning Steve - well done that man. If this is morning break time you must have had a really early start :surprised:

The SU has suffered a little damage to the fuel can racks during it's down time so that will need fixing

Some of us haven't got to bed yet as we don't want to miss the next step of this now epic build Mr. T.....as JR said please stick with this one, it deserves to be finished.....been around so long it is qualified as a polystyrene antique. Cheers and happy modeling. Rick H.
