Hi guys,
After finishing my Arctic Bf 109 I'd like to add an adversary - which will be a Spitfire Mk.Vb from Trumpeter (also in flight).
- Length 384.8mm (15,14")
- Wingspan 511.2mm (20.12")

This probably will be a very slow build (the 109 took 6 years lol), therefore I'm not putting it into the current "90 year of the Spitfire GB", although it will be nice joining you guys at the start of the GB. (y)

I have the Mk.VI (02413) in the stash - this is the same kit as the Mk.Vb (02403) with the addition of the pointy wingtips which I won't be using.

Made a start on this one :coffee:

Cut and cleaned all parts for the first steps,

At the moment I have most of the cockpit and engine glued together, the engine won't be visible in flight but I need the propeller shaft.
The seat looks weird with the wooden panel? I'm working on a pilot so not much of the seat will be visible in the end.

You have to love a 1/24 Spitfire. I did the Airfix one a few years ago and loved it. Happy building . I will be following along Steve
