Spots on the Internet 2020

You can see that machining a mould from a single piece of metal is a complicated effort, and the opportunities for mistakes are high! These are high capital investment items, which is why moulds from the last century are still in use!
Dave
CNC milled i assume, which shows the skills that must have been needed back in the day when they were made by hand ?

On the Eduard Facebook page, news about the recovery, after their fire. They now believe they can salvage more than originally thought, and hope to resume sales by January 15th. Good luck to them! :thumb2:

On the ICM Facebook page - boxart for their upcoming Mig-25PD in 1/72
icm mig-25pd 1-72.jpeg
P.S.The ICM website is in the process of being revamped - it will be '100% New'

On the Zvezda Facebook page renders for their Shchuka-X Soviet sub in 1/144
zvezda shchuka x 1-144 01.jpeg
The originals were about 57m long, so this should give a reasonable model size of around 400mm .................

Love the carriage lamps on the machine gun carrier.....so incongruous!

Just to add some Canadian background to the machine gun carrier. It was invented by the well known Canadian Gordy Volvo but his mum told him he was a very naughty boy for stealing the house front door lamps, so he moved to Sweden.

A late arrival from MiniArt - new kit coming soon.........................
miniart railway crossing.jpg
Looks a little wrong to me - a narrow country road with automatic barriers for a single track railway?
Dave

Have to agree. Looks wrong from several aspects. PaulE

The track looks the right gauge at least. Very complex signal though. Not sure what country that hails from?

From a newsletter from Arma Hobby - they are continuing with the Wildcat & Yak Variants, but two new models for 2021

If this is as good as their 1/72 model should be a good seller
