That joint will probably be worse below the back window above the boot lid. Not much to stick together and sprue attachment points to add to the nastiness :surprised:

Can easily be worked on along the roof - far better than a joint all the way round the edge of the roof (as the Revell Trabant had!)
Looking at that, my parents might have had one after the war, know that they had a Ford V8, but had a feeling that it had running boards and 'suicide' front doors - not positive, as all I can remember is playing in it when it'd been dumped in my uncles barn (though fairly sure that dad said the bodywork was aluminium)
This was made by Ford Germany, 1936-41

Could have been the Ford v8 pilot Gerry that was made from 47 to 51 for the British market.

Have to say i had a chuckle at the two figures in the car picture. I could just imagine one of them saying "But i'm a pilot and i need to fly!" and the other saying "Well i'm the engineer and i still say it's #$#$%&$!" :)

I'm puzzled by the scale! ICM do the AH-1 Cobra in 1/32 ( and other planes in that scale ) so why go to 1/35 for this? It may be just a typo - time will tell

Probably think the Military builders will jump on it for diorama builds. I bet it's a big old lump!

Sad to see trumpeter ignoring WW1 ships, would love to see Iron Duke, Queen Mary lots to choose from!

Probably as Ian says its so it can be used in dios and with figures . ive loved this helicopter since i was a kid and my older next door neighbour made the Revell 1/72 kit of it , complete with cargo pod , you can still track them down on ebay but they go for silly money , probably be cheaper to get the ICM when it comes out !!
