Spots on the Internet (2021)

Bob, put the sage on the outside!! It's The camouflage Sir! :tongue-out3: :thumb2::tongue-out2:;)

Bob at least you can take some solace in the fact that they've used the right pattern wheel nuts not the early Halford ones.

Leaving StuGs aside (please? ). On Takoms Facebook page 2 new 1/72 releases 'soon'

Masks for a 1/72 tank? I had difficulty with a 1/35 T-90!

Interesting to see the big boys trying to mussel their way into the 72nd market ,although the Leopard isn't my bag intresting to see the camo mask included but at what cost ,the price of some of these 72nd kits now are well over the twenty mark approaching thirty ,as a full member of the Ebenezer club I dont know if principle or just being tight cuts in ,im sure its a great kit true shake and bake every thing perfect but are thoes reasons to justify the price for the same money I can probably get two kits from Ukrainian manufacturer's subject choice 35ers only dream of ,yeh bits dont fit some of its badly moulded , but link and length ,sometimes link only tracks a large helping of photo etch and some time and effort involved. Interesting to see if the big boys will continue to try and establish a foot hold. Dave

Maybe they will start using Airfix's ''vintage classics'' as a slogan soon :-)

Just saw this:

Going by the box art, this’ll be the old Italeri SAS Jeep, the figures from Tamiya’s ancient Churchill Crocodile and a sprue from one of their accessory sets …

The artist who does the boxes for MiniArt must be on double overtime...................
Dave

I believe they know that building up a stash is faster than actually building a kit and collectors just like new box arts... ;)

Cheers,
Richard

Taken from Kotare's Facebook page regarding their upcoming Spitfire Mk.Ia:

At this stage we're looking at 3 Mid production options. Al Deere's KL-B obviously and another N3### serial number machine, probably Dirty Dick, and a P9### machine. Early K & L and late R & X etc serial numbers for future editions.

Initial release is now a mid-production boxing. Early and Late production boxings will follow later. There were just so many alternative parts required for each version that we decided they really needed their own specific releases.

No 3D printing included in this kitset. But something being explored for separately available extra detail/conversion parts for the future. No.promises though. Richard.

We concentrated on what can be seen in the wheel bays and cockpit. No engine detail on this one

Not exactly the Internet - but can anyone remember making one of these?
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/124997060069
I can remember making this as an Airfix model - never knew that it was 1/16 scale & was a repop of a 1962 Kitmaster model.
Too rich for my blood nearly £20 with 3 days to go! - a real collectors price........

Wow remember seeing it in woollies, lovely wooden floors and counters ,hot salted peanuts, bag of broken biscuits, think mum would leave me at the model section they used to have that great big peg board behind with all the finished kits on it while she got what she wanted ,how times have changed.
