Scale Model Shop

Spots on the Internet (2021)

I've struggled at times to find ammo when It didn't come with the kit and the normal likes of RB didn't have that item listed. So there must be a good market out there , which MiniArt have noticed.
Yeah,I know what you mean John......
.... Recently i`ve wanted about 30 or 40, 50 Cal ammo boxes for a couple of Dios.... can i find any sets that aren`t a fortune for about 5 of `em?!!:anguished::tired:

:tears-of-joy::tears-of-joy::tears-of-joy: I have NO idea what you're referring to Mike - I spent all my time in the YMCA, the station library, or meaningful books discussion classes (or similar!). No wonder I am such a wholesome pensioner ...
........ are you SURE about that Steve?!!:tears-of-joy::tears-of-joy:

Mick,
I was attached to the 13/18th when they were in Herford in 82
You young boys missed all the fun, they used to have a guy that could sing opera at the drop of the hat, and I am sure that it was his crew that poked the barrel of the tank through a bar window either on or near Sennelager and fired off a blank because they refused to serve them more beer..... Whenever they stopped for the night the beer was always flowing, they kept it in the ammo stowage....

The modern type or the Second World War variety? If you want the former (as I suspect), the AFV Club set is really good. It has 16 loose 50-caliber boxes as well as sets of seven in a row and 21 in a 3×7 “block”.

I reckon most people will be waiting for the Beaufort to be released.................

A few ex-members of Wingnut Wings have got together and founded a new model company. Loads of rumours around about what subjects they are considering. But most of them suggest WWII, which means that if they bring the same standard as WNW to the WWII stage then we're in for one hell of a trip.

On the Border Models Facebook page - no further info

So much preferred their WW1 subjects, there is already a glut of WW2 - pick a scale and there it is.

Not me. I'm not a WWI fan and so bring on the WWII aircraft. So many to do but a new Hurricane and Beaufighter would go down a treat

On the Gecko Facebook page, boxart & test builds of their upcoming skid steerer

Looks good, but the hydraulic hoses look a little wimpy......................

Combined boxing..............

Mesh PE on the skid steer doesn’t look all that good a fit. It should go under the roof overhang according to the box art. Might be corrected at release though. The rest looks nice.

Agree with Dave on the thickness of those hydraulic hose lines, a tad under size .
Well spotted Tim, it did look at bit odd on the first photo with that gap in the middle top.

That model is on my to do list when it is at last released. As I would build it as a civilian model the PE will not bother me as I am sure I will be able to scratch build side windows.

Andy.

Quite a big combined boxing! - I wonder what is meant by " with calculation " - a mis translation of something?
Dave

Must be a mistranslation, but you’d probably need someone who speaks Ukrainian, Russian or another Slavic language to make sense of it. Hmm … paging @Neo? :)

My guess is “8 crew” or something like that.
