It's certainly VERY close......Makes you wonder Steve

Rather odd that they all went Oh Lightning II. By my count that is the 3rd lightning.
Tamiya Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II 1:24 61124 Price approx £76.49 ( depending on exchange rate )
Far to many in one post to comment on but that Squid game figure is a waste of both plastic and tool-steel.On the ICM Website - upcoming releases & 'in process'
A closer look at the Belfast boxart shows it to be post-war ( with lattice masts ) and perhaps a Leander/Torquay frigate in the background. A pity, I'd rather it be 1943, Battle of North Cape, or the Normandy landings........Far to many in one post to comment on but that Squid game figure is a waste of both plastic and tool-steel.
A new Belfast! pity its not a little bit larger in scale.
By that reasoning, the Arado Ar 234 Blitz would also count against the numberRather odd that they all went Oh Lightning II. By my count that is the 3rd lightning.
Lockheed P83 then the EE Lightning then this.

The pilots are clearly USAAF (at least to my eye)... while the use of Lancs in daylight, although not very common, is not totally wrong, especially if referred to the last 12 months of war in Europe.Border also get a slating about their boxart - not only about the Bf-109 proximity, but also this...........
What is the pilot wearing on his head? What is his mate wearing? - who is his mate? My own view is that the Lancaster was usually used as a night bomber - why is this in broad daylight? - looks like it was done by an artist who has referenced B-17 pilots & missions
Dave
The artist who made this is the same one that did the Chinese tanks near to the Golden Gate Bridge. That too caused an uproar with quite a few of our brethren across the pond lolOn the Border Models Facebook page - a future release
