Scale Model Shop

Spots on the Internet (2023)

And how many different language versions will they bring out?

Like the books - will come in useful - but the shelves look more at home in a workshop to me!

I saw that Takom have a British army Apache on the way...

Quiet Ian! I'm trying to pretend I didn't hear that!

Stood next to one some years back and was surprised at just how large it is for a dedicated two seater!! Would be interested in building one I have to say.

Yep,me too.....
After doing my Huey last year i`m quite partial to a `copter build:thumb2:

I have to admit to wishing they did a decent version of the Westland Wasp. I know the do a conversion, Scout to Wasp but when you consider the numbers of Wasps built.

If they done a wasp in 35th or 32nd, I'd probably buy it!

Yup, I think 1/72 for a helo the size of the Wasp would be be mega fiddly!!! Also hope they would include a full kit, flotation gear, torpedo, DC and missile options etc. For a small chopper they did carry a vast variety of payloads.

Wonder if this is better than the Revell version???
It says on the box art that it’s in cooperation with Amusing Hobby, so I would expect it to be :) I have the Revell kit unbuilt in my stash somewhere, never did get round to it …

Doug, you'd have to buy multiple kits, at least you'd be able to cover all options!

I may just have to start another Wasp Campaign!!!
I commented to the pilot of the display Wasp - Xray Tango, (Terry Martin), regards there was nothing written regards the Wasp. He approached Larry Jeram Croft, (Author and ex Wasp/Lynx/Sea King pilot). Together we hatched a plot. End result was a collaboration from ex maintainers, aircrew knitted together by Larry and produced - (Roll of Drums). The Wasp, an Operational and Retirement History
So - I may have a mission!!!
