Spots on the Internet (2023)

Just saw this announced on Scalemates:

View attachment 479684

An American M53 155 mm self-propelled howitzer from the 1950s/60s by I Love Kit (a Trumpeter brand, IIRC). Not one I would have ever expected to see a modern plastic kit of, TBH.

  • Decal No.1
    Fw 190 A-4, 9./JG2, “Yellow4”, W.Nr.140746, flown by Hptm. Siegfried Schnell, France, Jan. 1943

So for anyone that likes Lego or similar.....available from the Tank Museum on pre-order.

Not cheap but does come with a full interior! It also appears to have a working suspension too - see last shot

On the Takom Facebook page - the trio of Hetzers

Like one of those games ' spot the difference'
Dave

Mostly the exhaust, so again: why they see a need to make three separate kits beats me. Unless there are major differences in the interior, of course, but I kind of doubt that too.

The Hetzer has such tiny hatches, that a full interior will be wasted, unless you do a cutaway!
Dave

Between early and mid is the mantlet and road and idler wheels. Between mid and late is the exhaust....don't know about the interior though.

Cheers,

Not a place I regularly visit, the AFV Club Facebook page ( In Chinese & Chaotic! ), but this caught my eye

It’s said to be a very good kit, their M16 MGMC (the halftrack with the quad-.50 in the back) is very highly rated, apparently they put in extra effort because the (late) founder of AFV Club was an American halftrack enthousiast.

Jakko, I built their Meat chopper a while ago. It is a good kit.
