Unfortunately the windscreen is cracked, think I will just leave well alone.
Well moulded parts with minimal flash and moulding seams but plenty of fine detail.
A curbside kit with a lower engine plug. There is an option to fit Watanbe alloy wheels and lowered suspension but I will build it as my company vehicle - steel wheels and normal suspension with hopefully homemade decals.

Here's all the parts to make up the load area.

and here's with them all fitted. The 10 tie down hooks and 2 tailgate handles were difficult to clean up and attach. I decided to fit them prior to primer as fitting them neatly afterwards would be a problem. I also filled in the visible ejector pin marks and scribed the panel lines which were shallow and soft. The grey is where the scriber slipped. 20260108_152058.jpg 20260108_152106.jpg filedata/fetch?filedataid=257688

I don’t think the cracked windscreen will look out of place on a pickup truck Stefan, good luck with your build 👍

The only problem I have is that my business was all about perfection when repairing or fully restoring very high level vehicles such as Lamborghini, Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Porsche etc. Therefore our private, courtesy and company vehicles had to be pristine also - first impressions counted.

Could you make the crack go away by filling with a clear acrylic varnish...?

Shame about the windscreen Strefan. Hopefully all the rest goes smoothly.

Applied white primer and then Tamiya X2 with 2 drops of X3 and 1 drop each of X1 and X5 - didn't want another pure white build in the cabinet.
Planning to give it coats of Tamiya Pearl gloss LP49 once cured before decalling and clear coating, think the effect will be very subtle.

20260113_135155.jpg Applied 3 1/2 coats of Tamiya LP49 clear gloss pearl. First time using their lacquer and was very impressed. Diluted 1 part paint to 2 parts MLT and sprayed at 15 psi through H&S Ultra 2024. The finish is so good that I hope the homemade decals will bed down with no further clearcoat being needed.
The effect is subtle but pleasing to my eyes, hopefully you can see it in the last photo.
