Here it is with alclad grey primer on and some pannels with alclad black base to look like darker alluminium.





Then I did the exhaust panel in airframe allu to simulate heated stainless steel.


The rest was done in duraluminium that I sprayed a little "patchy" to look like faded weatered alluminium.

Great work going on here. One of the things I like about Alclad is the subtle effects you can get with it. Did you know that not only the colour of the undercoat but the direction in which you sand/polish it changes the reflective/refractive qualities of the top coat. By changing the direction of the final rum down befor topcoat so that the adjacent panels are 'brushed' different ways can give a fantastic result. Give it a go on a bit of scrap.

Magnificent work Theuns. Got to love a bare metal finish and this will look the business once complete.
