So here goes.

I've never attempted a bike kit before but I can already see why some of you guys like them so much. The detail & fit has been superb so far, I'll try my best not to stuff it up 😂

I'm not much of a bike person really, even though I paint loads of them, so just picked something I had heard of lol

There's quite a lot of plastic in the box, plus a lovely full colour pamphlet of the markings, including real life reference pictures.
There's even a bag full of screws and a miniature screwdriver. Can you tell I'm new to this? 😁

So far I've assembled & painted the engine

Also, I've painted most of the black parts. A terrible picture but there's a mixture of matt, satin, and metallic blacks here.

I'm looking forward to seeing how I get on with a new challenge and hope some of you will come along for the ride...

screwdriver and screws? like a meccano and model all in one, what’s not to like!

my older brother got meccano, I got a railway set (no idea why, never liked trains), my younger brother had action man and my sister the dolls - so I always nicked the meccano - and made models.
