I'm in. Flying solo. Ma'am normally accompanies me to Telford, but she's busy tomorrow.

Well we was there Shaun! About half a dozen of us met up near the doorway between halls 2 and 3 as arranged. We went off for a drink and had a bit of a chinwag for an hour. As usual, it was nice to meet up with the guys I've met before as well as a couple of new faces.
You mean you didn't see 6 blokes with news papers under their arms wearing red carnations all stood together ?
It was great to catch up with you guys. I wish I could have stayed chatting a bit longer but I was kind of on the clock.
Looked as though you guys had all found some interesting stuff to buy, although Barry had resisted the temptation so far (he had Sunday too though so I think he was properly sizing up his options first!)
For my part I bought 3 WW1 pilot figures from Black Dog and a 1/35 Bronco Comet plus a few odds and sods.
It was a good but exhausting day (I was up at 5 and didn't get back home till 10:45 that night) but I'm glad I was able to say a quick hello to: Dave, Adrian, Colin, Barry, Steve and Robert. BTW, I thought the ale me and Barry had was pretty good, wished I could have had another!
See you all (probably) next year!

The original idea for recognisable clothing - back in the day when it was customary to include a bucket on any ground-based diorama - was a bucket on the head. This was not popular - although I wish the guys had told me before I turned up at Cosford! As a result we all went for the inconspicuous look!

Well, temptation did get the better of me. I kept being drawn to the Zuki Mura stand and bought that 1/32 Raiden and one of their (rather pricey) chisels....
I did take a few pictures of some models that stood out for me. Mostly large scale planes.
The Airfix stand had a very nice 1/24 'car door' Tiffy

As it's a 5 hour round trip I didn't make it. Did anyone take any car pics please, as military turns me right off!
Tremendous effort. Compared to my 15minute delay in a traffic jam going home !
Sorry - there were plenty of non-military exhibits there, but I did not get any pics as I don't really have any interest in them.
By the way, it is well worth the drive to attend. My drive was four hours each way, mind you I did it over two days, staying overnight in a hotel. Costs a bit but it was well worth it!
