Great stories on this thread.
I've had some strange and diverse 'Wheels' over the years from a 1960's 3 wheeler Bond which had a 250cc single pot Villiers engine fastened to the front steering thingy, so when you turned the steering wheel, the engine turned as well!
Also had a V.W 'Splitter' with 22 windows and a 6v system. A G reg. 1072cc Mini Cooper 'S' complete with carrycot in the back...All good memories.
Here is my real baby, which I have owned for 10yrs. A C reg. Panther Kallista, 2.8 V6 Fuel injected, ali bodied fun machine. Not a kit car, around 1100 Kallistas were built at the Panther factory in Byfleet before they went bust in 1992..... especially good at traffic lights when the young buck opposite sees a couple in this of 'Mature years' and starts to snigger!!!!!!
"No, please, not again!" sez the wife...
Great motor, it will keep up with most cars up to 70, then having the aerodynamics of a fence panel, it looses a bit of puff, still good for 120mph though, when no-one is about! lol
The other photo, which might be of interest was taken by my wife whilst we bombed around the Oulton Park Circuit in Cheshire on a charity open day, in a Panther I had before this one.
Happy days.
Ron
I know I should cover the no. plate but I don't think there are any hardened criminals on S.M.
