Nice model. Went together well with few problems. The largest was just the shear volume of the model. Out came the .4 nozzle needle & large cup.
Yellow a nightmare. There must be 4 or 5 coats of yellow.
Enormous decals but good quality. On the large numbers I cut off all the clear parts & with care all went well.
The black stripes strips all came in decals but masked & airbrushed these for a better finish.
Finally takes up a great amount of room but a great aircraft. I think one of the most beautiful ranks to me along side the Spitfire. I filmed it over Jersey during the B of Britain display for a company conference. It is such an elegant craft the way it moves in the air.
Thanks to Dave W who suggested for his exprience leaving the wings off until the final. Finished even the decals then stuck on wing.
