Haha Mark, I learnt a long time ago that you can never have enough sockets, and to be fair it's only 18 doubles ;)

That's turning into a great space Garry. Shame about the floor tiles but some kind of design or even a border should look great.

How's the shoulder doing? I only had the double of frozen and bursitis but it hampered me for quite a while. Physio helped tremendously.

Looking good mate, reminds me of the fun and anticipation I had when I was building mine!

Thanks Andy, I have managed to get some carpet tiles that will allow me to make it look good, so that worked out OK.
I could have ordered the exact same carpet tiles, but with delivery only in April, and no ways was I waiting that long :smiling2: The build started in September, and I want to get in now and start enjoying my space.
Thanks for asking, my shoulder is now about 90% healed and I am able to do most things pretty well, I even filled, sanded and painted the studio, so I'm happy with that.

I know exactly what you mean Steve, very close now though :smiling2:

Garry, did you check for Carpet monsters before tiling? :tongue-out3:
That's a very nice modelling room, you'll enjoy it a lot ; surely you'll enjoy it much more than I enjoyed yesterday's 6 Nations rugby match :disappointed2::face-with-head-bandage::loudly-crying:

That is looking very nice indeed.
Never cut down on sockets! lol

I sprayed the floor with antiseptic and then did a war dance before laying the carpet, but I'm sure I heard a soft chuckle from that carpet monster as if to say, try your best old chap you will never beat me. :anguished:
That was not Italy's finest moment was it.
That is looking very nice indeed.
Never cut down on sockets! lol
Thanks Ian, it reminds me of the song from The Greatest Showman - "Never Enough". ;)
The carpet or vinyl monster it seems is every where Andrea .
Indeed John indeed.

Here we are with the room the cleanest it will ever be, just for the record. :smiling2:
Flooring is in, blind is installed over the window, and heater over the sliding door.
All systems are GO!!

What happens in the studio, stays in the studio ;)

Looking good Garry. Do you have the interior layout planned already?

Not completely at this stage Andy, I have a lot of old tables and units that I want to try out before buying new stuff, so it's going to a bit of suck it and see.
I have an idea of where I want work areas to be, so now it is just to sort out what will work.
I'm not so sure that I will have all the luxuries you have in your man cave, but I'll see what happens.

That does look rather clean. You need to get in there and dirty it up a bit lol.

Do you have rules about electrical outlets in NZ here in DK there in new builds and renovations, there has to be at least two outlets on each wall and X outlets per m2! madness. AND they have to be 50cm (?) above the floor!
Sorry just had to mention it.
