Hello,

Well it’s apparently the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence so any one fancy marking this anniversary with a group build?

Anything made in the good ol’ U.S.A but iconic things especially welcome.

Some ideas:
P.51 Mustang
F-4 Phantom
M4 Sherman
Ford Mustang
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
Apollo rocket
Harley Davison motorcycle
U.S. Missouri
The Mayflower

Obviously there are many, many others.

Maybe run it over the summer months so we straddle the 4th July.

Any takers?

Geoff.

That’s great Bob. I thought it would be a good topic, something for everyone 👍

I'll be up for it. I have a few potential qualifiers in the stash. I will be away on my hols on the actual 4th of July though.....

Nick.

Almost certainly up for that - would a Vietnam War theme qualify?

I expect that like previous group builds if it goes ahead it will be over 3 months so unless your lucky enough to be going for a super long holiday it should be fine 😊

Yes Steve anything used or made by the United States between 1776 and now will be eligible 👍

I’m in, I know I have the odd kit that works (well odd 9 as it turns out).

Ooooo..... In that case ive got something that fits and this willbe the excuse to build it

That sounds intriguing Paul 🤔

Looking forward to seeing what it is should the gb go ahead 👍

Definitely count me in with a rather gorgeous Cav M1113! Small dio in mind already!

Count me in Geoff, I'll decide which iconic US subject I will build closer to the time. There are no lack of them 😀

Head count please Geoffers.

I'm up for this please.

I've no idea what I'll make, but there's plenty to choose from.

I'm in for this Geoff. I'm assuming June, July and August to put 4th July in the middle.
